In short: this website and the NeuroLyf app belong to us, and you're welcome to use them on your own device. Copying our code, scraping the site, or using our work to train an AI ends your permission. Your data stays on your device, and we don't see it.
The basics
These terms apply to both neurolyf.com.au and the NeuroLyf app. By using either, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
We are Neuro Lyf (ABN 84 165 365 806), based in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia.
Ownership and permitted use
The source code, design, layout, wording, and overall look and feel of NeuroLyf belong to us.
Some parts of the code were built with AI assistance. The way it is combined into the finished product is original, and it is protected by copyright under Australian law.
These terms give you permission to view this website and use the app on your own device. This is not a sale and does not transfer ownership. The permission ends if you break these terms.
No reverse engineering
You may use NeuroLyf, but you may not take it apart. Do not copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer, clone, or extract our source code.
No scraping or AI training
Do not use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools on this website or the app.
Do not use our code, interfaces, text, or any of our assets to train, test, or validate any external AI or machine-learning model.
Your data stays on your device
Everything you enter into the app is processed and kept on your own device. We do not collect, see, or store it. There is no account, sign-up, or profile.
Because your data stays on your device, keeping that device secure is your responsibility. We recommend locking it and backing it up.
Your privacy
How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy policy. In short: the app keeps everything on your device, and this website only collects an email if you join the waitlist.
Third-party components
NeuroLyf uses some established, well-maintained open-source components, and we keep them up to date. These are governed by their own licences. We choose them with care, but we can't take responsibility for bugs or security issues that sit inside those third-party packages themselves.
If you break these terms
If you break these terms, for example by reverse engineering, scraping, or otherwise misusing NeuroLyf, your permission to use or keep the website and the app ends immediately, without notice.
What NeuroLyf is not
NeuroLyf helps you track habits, mood, energy, and your cycle. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace care from a health professional. For any health concern, speak with your doctor.
No guarantees
We build and maintain NeuroLyf with care and test it before release. Even so, we can't guarantee it will always be available or free of every error. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If any part cannot be enforced, the rest remains in effect.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site or the app after an update means you accept the changes.
